This compact industrial stool comes from the workshop floor of the Orion radio factory in Budapest. Its tripod base of splayed, saber-shaped cast iron legs carries a manufacturer's plate reading "Vogel Frigyes Budapest, VI. Váci-út 69 sz." and a separate inventory tag stamped "583 0384", a direct trace of its working life on the factory floor. The sculptural, flared legs and small round top reflect the industrial design language of 1930s Budapest and suit use as a stool, side table, plant stand or compact occasional table.
Condition and Character **Original cast iron base with a brand new plywood top.** The cast iron base retains its original dark paint finish, showing chipping, surface wear and scattered discoloring consistent with decades of factory use. Both the manufacturer's plate and the Orion inventory tag remain intact and legible on the legs. The round top is newly made in birch-faced plywood, fitted to the original base. Please review the detailed photos closely to inspect the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
