Crafted in Pécs, Hungary during the 1970s, these dining chairs are made from solid oak and cowhide leather. Designed and produced in small batches by independent artisans and garage workshops, they were originally distributed through the IDEA shop network, a state-supported initiative promoting Hungarian craftsmanship.
These two remaining chairs beautifully represent Hungarian design heritage, combining robust construction with timeless aesthetics. Both are in very nice vintage condition, showing minor signs of use consistent with age.
