This vintage theatre spotlight by Strand Electric sits on an adjustable wooden tripod with a geared pan-and-tilt head, originally used as studio or stage lighting equipment. The "STRAND ELECTRIC" maker's mark is cast into the housing, and the fixture retains its working barn-door style shutters and hinged reflector housing. On its tripod the lamp extends up to 190 cm, making it a striking floor-standing piece for a living room, studio or office corner.
Condition and Character **Original vintage condition with heavy signs of use.** The housing shows flaking and chipped paint, scratches and a hairline crack to the front casing, along with overall surface discoloring consistent with age and use. The lamp is functional and the shutters still operate smoothly, though the piece reads primarily as a decorative studio lamp with the bulb currently fitted. Please review the detailed photos closely to inspect the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
