This pair of lounge chairs is attributed to Miroslav Navrátil for Český Nábytek and dates from 1959. Each chair has a sweeping curved shell covered in deep green looped upholstery, with two round buttons on the backrest and a yellow shell back. The shells sit in wooden frames on tapered, splayed legs, braced by slim crossed metal wires. The low seats and relaxed angle work well in a living room, a reading corner or either side of a fireplace.
Condition and Character **Original condition with fading, scratches and rust on the lower rods.** The pair is in its original condition. There is some fading and there are scratches, and the metal rods at the bottom show rust. Both chairs are stable and comfortable, but they creak because of their age.
