This set of two sideboards is attributed to Jiří Jiroutek for Interier Praha, part of the celebrated Czech U-series produced in Třešť during the 1960s. One cabinet presents eight drawers in a bold black and white striped composition, while its companion pairs four striped drawers with a lockable storage cabinet in a black, yellow and white palette. Both share the characteristic oak case with splayed tapered legs typical of Czechoslovak mid-century design, and work well together or separately in a living room, dining room or entryway.
Condition and Character **Original vintage condition with signs of use.** Both sideboards show a small chip and light scratches consistent with age and use, along with minor surface wear to the lacquered drawer fronts.
