This pair of 1960s Czech armchairs is attributed to ULUV. The angled wooden frames, curved slatted backs and clear Lucite armrests over wooden arm supports give the chairs a light, sculptural profile, and the original green woven upholstery adds strong colour. They suit a living room, reading corner or bedroom.
Condition and Character **Original vintage condition with signs of use and one cracked Lucite arm.** One of the four Lucite arms has a crack at the bottom, shown in the photos. The previous owner repaired one of the chairs with textile straps in place of the original leather straps. Otherwise the pair is in original condition, comfortable and usable as is, and a good base for refurbishment.
