This pair of barrel armchairs is attributed to János Vásárhelyi for the Hungarian maker Balaton Bútorgyár and dates from 1996. A curved bentwood top rail wraps around the striped blue and grey upholstery. Chrome rods run horizontally across the back and sides, setting off the warm-toned wooden frame on tapered legs. The compact size suits a living room, a reading corner, a bedroom or a reception area.
