This U-450 sideboard was made by Interier, Národní podnik in Praha, with its manufacturer's label dating production to 1962. The design, with its graphic black, yellow and white lacquered drawer fronts against natural oak, is widely associated with Jiří Jiroutek's U-series case furniture from Czechoslovakia. Four full-width drawers sit beside a lockable cabinet door that opens to reveal an adjustable shelf, making this a compact and versatile piece for a living room, entryway or bedroom.
Condition and Character **Original condition with minor signs of use.** The oak case shows light scratches and surface wear consistent with age, and the lacquered drawer fronts retain their bold original colours with only minor surface marks. The piece is fully functional, with smooth-running drawers and a working cabinet lock and key. Please review the detailed photos closely to inspect the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
