This coffee table was made from an authentic galvanised metal crate dated 1965 and fitted with new wheels and a glass top. The crate has "SCHAFER 1965" embossed on one long side and "AEG" on the other, along with ribbed panels and pressed metal handles at each end. Under the glass you can still see inside the crate, so it also works as display storage. It suits a loft-style living room, studio or office, and the casters let you move it easily.
Condition and Character **Original vintage crate with signs of use, newly fitted wheels and glass top.** The galvanised metal shows signs of use, including surface scuffs, scratches and marks, plus a hand-marked number on one corner. The wheels and glass top are new additions. Please review the detailed photos closely to inspect the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
