This low back armchair in black leather was made by CS Møbler in Denmark and designed by Hans Olsen in the 1960s. The flared armrests extend past the frame, and the chair stands on four slim wooden legs. The loose seat and back cushions keep it comfortable for everyday use. Condition and Character **Original condition with clearly visible signs of use.** The chair has never been restored. The leather on the seat cushion and front seat rail shows heavy surface cracking, scuffs and areas where the black finish has worn to a lighter tone. The back cushion is creased and has some scratches. One edge of the back cushion shows worn spots where the colour has rubbed off. The armrests and outer sides are in better condition, with only light marks. The CS Møbler "made in denmark" stamp and the Danish Furnituremakers' Control mark are still on the underside frame, along with the original Rotex natural rubber webbing straps.
