This 1960s chair comes from the former East Germany (DDR). The curved shell backrest has an open cut-out above the seat, and the bright yellow front contrasts with the black back, which is finished with nailhead trim. The chair sits on splayed, tapered wooden legs. It is stable and suits a writing desk or study, and it also works as an accent chair in a living room or bedroom.
Condition and Character **Original condition with small signs of use.** A small piece of the yellow covering is missing on the side edge of the backrest, showing the material underneath. The black back has scuffs and surface marks. The yellow seat and backrest show light marks from use, and the wooden legs have minor marks. The chair is stable. Please review the detailed photos closely to inspect the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
