This 1930s Bauhaus flower stand is the model B 136, attributed to Emile Guillot for Thonet. The chrome-plated tubular steel frame rises in three stepped tiers, each carrying a glass shelf, which gives the piece a light, open look. The shelves have been fitted with new glass. It works well for plants by a window, or as a small display stand in a living room, hallway or study.
Condition and Character
**Vintage condition with new glass and signs of use on the frame.**
The glass shelves are new. The rubber pieces that hold the glass have hardened over the years and no longer grip it as well as they did when new. The chrome-plated frame shows signs of use, including scratches, pitting and small spots of corrosion, most visible on the lower runners. Please review the detailed photos closely to inspect the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
