This fully restored pair of armchairs represents the height of Czechoslovakian Art Deco design. Designed by the legendary Jindřich Halabala for UP Závody in the 1930s, the H-237 model is an iconic example of how bentwood technology was used to create fluid, sculptural forms.

The design is defined by its dramatic, sweeping bentwood armrests that transition seamlessly into the legs, creating a continuous, elegant curve. This silhouette is one of the most recognizable and sought-after designs from the Halabala era.

Restoration & Condition
These chairs have undergone a complete professional restoration to return them to showroom condition.

Woodwork: The signature bentwood frames have been meticulously stripped, sanded, and refinished in a deep, rich stain that highlights the natural beauty of the wood.

Upholstery: The chairs have been entirely reupholstered in a premium, high-quality beige bouclé fabric. This textured material provides a soft, contemporary feel that perfectly complements the vintage Art Deco aesthetic.

Detailing: The backrests feature the classic three-button tufted detailing, true to the original design.
