tamas-borsfay-standing-lamp-hungary-1970s
Tamás Borsfay standing lamp, Hungary, 1970s
This 1970s arc floor lamp from Hungary is attributed to Tamás Borsfay. A chrome tubular arc holds a brown lacquered shade made of four stacked, louvre-style rings. The telescopic stem adjusts the height, and a round brown base keeps the lamp steady. It suits a living room reading corner, placed next to a sofa or armchair, or a bedroom or study.

Condition and Character
**Original condition with scratches and chips.**
The lamp shows scratches and chips from use, especially on the lacquered shade and base. One of the shade rings is slightly crooked. There is a worn area on the chrome arc, shown in the close-up photo. The height adjustment works. The lamp has a European plug, and we can change it at no additional cost if needed.
