The sculptural wooden armrests and angular upholstered shells give the pair a strong art deco silhouette, well suited to a living room, reading corner or entryway seating arrangement. No maker's label is visible on either chair, so the Halabala attribution is based on strong stylistic resemblance rather than a confirmed mark.

Condition and Character
**Original condition with age-appropriate wear and a small amount of movement in the arms.**
The bentwood armrests show surface scratches and finish wear built up over decades of use, and there is a small amount of movement where the arms meet the seat frame. The rust-orange upholstery is original to the pieces and shows fading and general wear consistent with their age. The chairs are comfortable and fully usable as is, and they offer a great base for refurbishment, which we would recommend. Please review the detailed photos closely to inspect the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.

Details and Dimensions
Style: Art Deco
Designer: Attributed to Jindřich Halabala (unconfirmed, no maker's label visible)
Model: Type C
Origin: Czechoslovakia
Period: 1930s
Materials: Wood, Textile
Dimensions: W68 x D88 cm x H82 cm
Seat Height: 41 cm

Located in Budapest, Hungary.
We ship to Hungary, Romania, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Portugal, England, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia, Greece (mainland only), and Croatia (mainland only) for a flat €100 door-to-door delivery fee, all included.
For all other destinations, please get in touch for a shipping quote.
For similar style pieces, checkout our other listings as well.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0672/3528/3249/files/01.finished_ed718ed8-edcb-4c3f-9438-4141e108f47e.jpg?v=1791241457
https://justchairs.eu/products/pair-of-jindrich-halabala-type-c-art-deco-armchairs-czechoslovakia-1930s-1
